Drum roll, please... The Verity Book Sales Table Available to you Online
We at Verity Fellowship love books! At this year’s Verity Conference, we had hundreds of books for sale. Books by authors whose works we love and have personally benefited from and were available for purchase at the conference. Nancy Guthrie, Timothy Keller and Elyse Fitzpatrick are a few of the authors whose works we chose to make available this year, each book specifically selected to help you use the Scriptures well. If you missed your chance to purchase a book at our Verity weekend, now's your chance to purchase it through Amazon. And bonus - a small fraction of the sale will benefit Western Seminary as well.
We’ve compiled a list of these books, along with descriptions about why we chose each one.
This is the perfect resource for you if you would like to interpret these books better and have them minister to you devotionally.
These are the perfect Bible studies to do as an individual or with a small group. They are gospel-centered with brief leaders’ notes in the back, making it simple and easy to do. They get to the point of the text and have good applications, always getting to Jesus.
These Nancy Guthrie Bible studies are in-depth with teaching as well as inductive questions for you and your group to study well the Old Testament and see how all of it leads to grace in Jesus Christ. When there is a dearth of women’s Bible studies that do this well, Nancy shines.
This book shows in a very humble, personal way how the gospel applies to life at home with kids. However, this book is beneficial for any woman because the concepts addressed apply to every kind of life you could be living.
This lovely children’s book is great for you to learn the whole story of the Bible and to teach it to your children.
This is a compilation book with multiple authors that offers great insights on how to use the Scriptures well in teaching, discipling, and training women. This book is written from a complementarian perspective.
D.A. Carson walks you through the prayers of Paul in the New Testament, challenging your prayer life and encouraging you to call out to your Father with great faith, and to pray the same things the Biblical authors prayed for.
We highly recommend this book to all women! Elyse dives into what it means that our identity is rooted in what Jesus has done and that we are united to Him as the Church, the Bride and the people He has saved. Taylor is a huge fan of Elyse’s work.
We relish the opportunity at every Verity Fellowship event to make these resources available to you. Whether you choose a commentary like 1 Peter for You by Juan Sanchez or a Bible study like The Promised One by Nancy Guthrie, our hope is that you would find books to enrich your understanding of the Scriptures-to use the Scriptures well and to help other women to do the same.
